“Manchester is a city which is passionate about cycling in all its forms, with a host of national and international cycling events taking place in its world-class facilities and a
large number of partners and groups dedicated to the development of cycling in the
city. Our vision for cycling in Manchester is to be a World-class Cycling City with
More People Cycling More Often.”

So reads the first lines of the Executive Summary of the “Interim Strategy for Cycling in Manchester” produced by Manchester City Council and British Cycling.

The 52 page document is available on the Manchester Friends of the Earth Scribd page.

Manchester Friends of the Earth and Love Your Bike will be submitting a detailed response to the consultation.

If you would like to have your say on what is good, bad, what should be added or changed in this draft strategy then you have until 31st January next year.
