Saturday 25th June saw the second of our cycle style events in Manchester Arndale under the Bike Fabulous banner.

The all-day event, which certainly seemed to capture the imagination of passing shoppers included:

• four catwalk shows with high street clothes and items designed for cycling
• Jez the Bike Magician
• a pedal powered sound system, powered by FoE campaigners and members of the public
• ‘pimp my vest’, a feast of glitter, paints and stickers with more than 150 florescent jackets being given the personal touch by passing children
• the kids of Manchester’s new BMX centre
• BikeRight! offering advice on bike maintainence
• Breeze, women’s cycling events
• information on cycling and other Manchester FoE campaigns
