On Friday 26th November, the last Bike Friday of 2010, cyclists converged on the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE) main offices to lobby for active travel (walking and cycling) policies to be given a high priority in the next Local Transport Plan (LTP3).

Manchester Friends of the Earth presented Cllr Ian MacDonald with our vision for sustainable transport (pdf) in Greater Manchester. We also made a full response to the Local Transport Plan 3 consultation.
